If you have all it take to to sigh up for googles adsense account as i have mention about the things you should take into consideration if you want to apply for a google adsense account hope you read the post and you have gotten all the requirement mentioned in the post if yes so you can now apply for a google adsense account and if you have not go to my previous post to read about what you should do or put into consideration before you can apply for google adsense account and you will be approved, i know if you apply after putting all the things i mentioned in that post intact in your blog, you will be approved in know time for your adsense account if you apply for an adsense account.
The first thing now is to sigh up for google adesnse account and this are steps to follow to sigh up for a adsense account.
(1) Visit the google adsense page
(2) Click on sigh up now button
(3) Complete all of the required information,paying particular attention to your website address,make sure this is correct. This URL cannot contain anything that violates the program policies.Press submit when you are done.
(4) next you will either link your existing google account or you will create a new one.
(5) The final page will display a summary of the information you have submitted and ask that you confirm.
If you have done this you have submitted an adsense account request and need to wait for your site or blog to be approved ,this process takes any time from a day to a week depending on how many requests google has at that time.You will receive an email from google notifying you once you have been approved.but if you are not approved because it happens like that sometimes if you apply the information sent to from google will contain information on why and how to resubmit your site.The most common reason ,for a decline is due to content.
Google reviews your content closely, and will not approve a site or blog that do not meet its guildlines.If this happens ,you will just have to resolve the issue and resubmit you site or blog.
HOW TO PLACE ADSENSE
The greatest key factors to success with adsense is the placement of ads.The place where you place your ads on your blog or site determines how you you get clicks on your ads so this are few things you can take into consideration when placing ads on your blog or site.
(1) If you have a three column theme with a left side column ,adsense does well placed in this left side column as well.
(2) Adsense does better bellow your nav bar not above
(3) The closer Adsense is to your content ,the better it performs.The best placement is right above your content .
The best of where to add adsense ads is adding your ads just above your content because this has been the optimal position.
HOW TO CREATE YOUR FIRST A AD
Assuming your adsense account has been approved then what is left for you to do is to create your first adsense ad. For this post we will create an ad above your content.More specifically we will create a 336x280 large square ad and place it below your post tittle but before your content on each of your articles
So to create ad do the following
(1) Login to your Adsense account
(2) Click on the My ads tab at the top.
(3) Press the NEW AD UNIT button.The new ad screen will appear prompting you for information about your new ad.
(4) In the NAME field put a name for your ad. I generally use the name of my blog , following by the ad size.For example acquire wealth secrets-Large Square.The name really does not matter as long as it is meaningful to you.
(5) In the size field ,select 336x280-Large Rectangle (this tends to be the best performing adsense ad) .
(6) For Ad type use the default TEXT & IMAGE / RICH MEDIA ADS.This will allow a combination of text ,image and animated ads .
(7) Custom Channels allow you to view and track details about your ads,so you will definitely want to use a channel.To create a new custom channel click on the create new custom channel link ,in the pop up type a name for your channel and press save. The new channel will automatically be associated with your ad.
(8) Ad style /colour palette will allow you to select the colour selection is critical to good performance.The ad should blend with your content and specifically with your link colours.Here is how to select your colours Border-use the same colour as your background.Generally this will be NFFFFF (white) you dont want a border to show.Title -same as your link colour or border.Text -NCCCCC URL-NCCCCC .Use the default for the remainder of the settings.These colours are based on testing i have done and the experience of other bloggers i have met.
(9) Click save and get code.
(10) Copy the ad code and save it somewhere handy,as we will be using it to show the ad on your site or blog.
Here is how to set up the adsense ad we just created so that it can show on your bog or site.
For blogger just copy your ad link and log in to your blog and click on layout and click on ad a gadget of the side you want the ad to be and click on edit which takes you to a pop up box which com with different option just look for html link and click on and another box comes up that is where you will paste the copied link and you you save it and after doing that your adsense ad will show on your bog. But for wordpress follow this step,
(1) If not already installed install ozh who sees as wordpress plugin it .
(2) In your wordpress admin menu navigate to setting >>who sees ads Who see ads uses something called contexts. Context allow you to set up rules around who will see your ads or who wont .There are a number of rules available in the possible rules section.
(3) The first thing you will want to do is name the new context we are creating.Since we are only showing our ads to search engine visitors i would suggest calling it something like search engine only.Avoid using spaces and use dashes instead as it will make it easier to reference your name when we insert the who sees ads code here in a bit.
(4) We are now going to set up the rule.Drag the rule named if visitors comes from a search engine display to the active rules box.As you can see there are many rules available and i would encourage you to try out various rules to see what works best for you for earning revenue.
(5) Remember earlier i told you to save off your adsense code ,time to pull it up copy it and paste it into the box named ad code.
(6) click on save context.
Now that your ad code as been place in your blog or site you will now see adsense ad show on your post depending on how many adsense ad you want to run in a post in your blog it may be 2 or 3 the highest you can run is 3 and you determine where you want it to show depending on where you place your ad ,just make sure you paste your adsense where it will be visible to your blog or site visitors.
